What makes a good FAQ
- Real questions, in your customers' words. "Do you work on Sundays?" beats "What are our operational hours?"
- Short, direct answers. Lead with yes, no or the number, then add one line of detail.
- The questions that stop a sale. Price, timings, location, delivery, refunds and how to book.
- Kept up to date. A wrong price in an FAQ costs more trust than having no FAQ at all.
How to add FAQ schema to your website
WordPress
Add the questions to your page as a normal FAQ section, then paste the schema code into a Custom HTML block on the same page, or into your SEO plugin's schema settings.
Wix, Squarespace and Shopify
Use the page's custom code or "Embed HTML" option to add the schema, and add the questions as visible text on the page.
Custom websites
Paste the <script type="application/ld+json"> block anywhere in the page's HTML. Then check it with Google's Rich Results Test.
The schema must match FAQs that visitors can actually see on the page. Don't add schema for questions that aren't shown.

Will FAQ schema get my page rich results on Google?
Google now shows FAQ rich results mainly for well-known government and health websites, so most businesses won't see the expandable questions in search. FAQ schema still helps search engines and AI assistants understand your page, and the visible FAQs help your visitors.
Are the generated answers accurate?
The AI is told to answer only from facts on your pages and to leave out anything your site doesn't say. Always read every answer before publishing and correct anything that is out of date.
Is there a limit?
You can generate FAQs for 3 websites a day. Results are saved for a week, so scanning the same site again is instant and doesn't count. The manual schema builder has no limit.
